Location staff were professional polite welcomingThe owner Vangeli reception Constadina and the rest of the team team treated us like family from the moment we stepped into the hotelWe were welcomed with a bottle of wine and refreshments to enjoy on the roof top with a sensational view of the AcropolisEven on the of check out the owner team were present to oversee our departure and organized our transport to the airportHighly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting AthensLooking forward to staying there again
Location right off of Ermou (on the same street as The Little Kook Cafe that was all decked out for Halloween - so fun!), a block from Monastiraki Square and metro station; small boutique hotel with tasteful and modern decor and a rooftop deck with a clear view of the Acropolis; room and bathroom were spacious; hotel staff were excellent (Evie, Christina, Evangelo, kitchen staff) and really went above and beyond - they arranged for earlier breakfast to be served when we had an early excursion, researched logistical info for an outdoor concert we were attending and also transit options to the port and train station - we could not have asked for anything more from them; breakfast was beyond what we expected each morning and in a lovely breakfast area - bacon, eggs, potatoes, pastries/bread/bagels, cereals, fruit, yogurt, selection of charcuterie meats and cheeses and fixings, juices/teas/coffee, fridge with water was always available for self-serve.
I can't say enought about how much I enjoyed staying in this hotel. The place is very clean, very stalish and all was set up in a very nice and professional way. The customer service was exceptional, and I mean exceltional. Cristina was a wonderful person who made us feel at home. Vangelist is an awesome guy, so kind and helpful. They really are high quality personnell, I hope every hotel had this type of employees. Thank yoy both for everything. Room waa so clean, well equipped. Breaksfast was SO delicious and with many options. A added value to the hotel is the complimentary refeshments they have 27/7 for the guests (unlimited), smething I have never seen before in any other hotel I have stayed (unless it is all inclusive). Location is right across Monastiraki square which makes it very convenient to walk to any tourist attraction in Athens. One of the best things is the view from the roof top.
We liked the check-in process with Christina. The hotel staff, especially the front desk and the buffet. Everyone we met at this facility were great, including the owner! If and when I return to Athens, the Acropolis City Life Boutique Hotel will be the hotel for my stay.
everything. Location, staff, Breakfast rooms. Staff was incredible and couldn't do enough for us from inquiring about hop on hop offs, info regarding the city, help with the safe. Christina and Constantina were superb. So friendly and willing to go above and beyond. In all my travels, I think this staff was one of the nicest ever. We met the designer, builder owner who was a charming man and explained that he built this so he could meet people. The hotel is lively and very reasonably priced. 2 mi uses from train station, a minute from the Plaka and hop on hop off bus and a 10 minute walk to the acropolis. Also it has a wonderful rooftop terrace that has spectacular views of Athens.
The hotel was a fabulous new place, very well designed and in an incredible location. It was a minute walk from the Plaka and 3 minutes to the train station. The Acropolis was a 10 minute walk. The staff was so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. They found out ticket prices for us, booked us a van to the port, recommended restaurants. They had a fabulous breakfast area and tea, coffee water and snacks were available all day free of charge. The hotel is air conditioned which in the heat was great. There is a terrace on the top level with great views of the Acropolis and surrounding areas. Christina, Constantina and Vangelos were absolutely some of the nicest hard working staff we have encountered in our many years of travel. Try this very reasonably priced hotel. You will not be disappointed!
Love the location. Loved the breakfast!! Close to so many restaurants and the places we had to meet for our food and history tours, Love the square and all the shops that were there. So much to look at. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who's going to be going to Athens in the future.
The service - staff was extremely nice and so helpfulThe room was clean , roomy, well decoratedBreakfast was good , just what you need to start the day.
We enjoyed the genuine warmth and kindness from the staff; they ensured that we were always comfortable and were happy to assist in anything. Kristina took care of our luggage and the other staff members were equally helpful. We were excited that the hotel is central located to great sights and restaurants. Our suite had an amazing view of the Acropolis and the room was spacious. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel for its location and wonderful staff!
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. And I want to begin by talking about the service and staff here. From the moment I walked in, the welcome was so warm, I felt right at home (Thank you Christina). And every interaction with the reception (including chats with Christina, Evi and Evangelos who is the owner/manager) was SO friendly. They're all just so nice and human. Even the brief encounters with the breakfast staff and the housekeeping staff were extremely pleasant. The most overwhelming moment was after I asked Christina to research a local bakery for me where they sell specific type of cookies, she asked for an hour to get me the info and an hour later, instead of the info, she had BOUGHT a box of cookies for me. No charge! This is service like no other and SUPER nice of her. The room is nicely sized, the furniture and decor is minimalistic but artistic with a few large mirrors (which is always a treat), a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom is well-designed and has all the things you need (including a hairdryer), and the rain shower is great (also nice and hot). Their breakfast is more than adequate (only suggestion would be to keep veggie stuff away from meaty stuff, because when it's in the same food warmer, it feels contaminated). But the best thing here is that all the cakes and pastries, juices and yogurts, water and coffee machine etc are available all day long for guests to help themselves. This is a rarity in any hotel - and such a wonderful touch that allows guests to feel 'at home'. Finally the location - it's barely 2min walk from Monastiraki station (which connects directly to the airport), right at one end of Ermou (which is a big shopping street) and so close to many popular restaurants and cafes. You could stay here without needing to take the metro for any local excursions, including the Parthenon. And the views from the rooftop are mindblowing.
