Location right off of Ermou (on the same street as The Little Kook Cafe that was all decked out for Halloween - so fun!), a block from Monastiraki Square and metro station; small boutique hotel with tasteful and modern decor and a rooftop deck with a clear view of the Acropolis; room and bathroom were spacious; hotel staff were excellent (Evie, Christina, Evangelo, kitchen staff) and really went above and beyond - they arranged for earlier breakfast to be served when we had an early excursion, researched logistical info for an outdoor concert we were attending and also transit options to the port and train station - we could not have asked for anything more from them; breakfast was beyond what we expected each morning and in a lovely breakfast area - bacon, eggs, potatoes, pastries/bread/bagels, cereals, fruit, yogurt, selection of charcuterie meats and cheeses and fixings, juices/teas/coffee, fridge with water was always available for self-serve.
The service - staff was extremely nice and so helpfulThe room was clean , roomy, well decoratedBreakfast was good , just what you need to start the day.
Amazing central location, really good size rooms with free water bottles available. Super friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and the air conditioner worked great, we needed it the heat wave. Very comfy bed too
April 2025 We had reservations beginning April 9th, 2025 but the Greek air traffic controllers went on strike so our flight from Seattle was cancelled, and we couldn’t get another one for two days. We contacted Acropolis City Life to cancel our reservation and they refused. Acropolis City Life said simply “declined” and stiffed us out of more than $1000. We made two requests and they refused to help us at all. All our tours and dinner reservations cancelled with understanding, but Acropolis City Life wouldn’t even talk to us. Incredibly unethical.
We stayed there only for one night and it definitely served the purpose. The room was clean and had all the necessities. We were able to leave our luggage at the hotel after the checkout and explore the city until our flight. The location was very convenient and we had everything we needed nearb
Lovely staff, great location full of life close to Monastiraki metro station and square. Ideal for exploring the ancient sites with a convenient retreat. Excellent value. Would stay here again. Rooms modern and clean, good hot water, split system air-con. Chose Monastiraki as convenient for the metro to both the airport and Pireaus ferry port, so a great place to overnight en route,
The hotel - which is very good located - has a fantastic calming atmosphere. This wonderful atmosphere is because of the enormous heart of the owner and the exceptionally helpful staff. We enjoyed the breathtaking view from the roof, the delicious breakfasts, coffee with almond/soy/rice milk, thank you for it :), the clean and cosy rooms, and that the receptionists had always some kind words and a smile to us. Unfortunately we had to go to the hospital. The helpfulness and the support from the owner Vangelis and the whole staff was amazing and much more than I could write it in words
Very nice hotel perfectly located for a 3 day stay in Athens! A very helpful staff! Cristina helped us on the last minute to find and reach a tourist spot on the area. The room is a little small, but very comfortable, well decorated, great bed, shower and facilities. The breakfast is well prepared and tasty. There is a rooftop with an outstanding view of the city, specially the Acropolis. The location is perfect, a hundred meters from the Monasteraki metro station, the place to be in downtown Athens for tourism.
The hotel was a fabulous new place, very well designed and in an incredible location. It was a minute walk from the Plaka and 3 minutes to the train station. The Acropolis was a 10 minute walk. The staff was so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. They found out ticket prices for us, booked us a van to the port, recommended restaurants. They had a fabulous breakfast area and tea, coffee water and snacks were available all day free of charge. The hotel is air conditioned which in the heat was great. There is a terrace on the top level with great views of the Acropolis and surrounding areas. Christina, Constantina and Vangelos were absolutely some of the nicest hard working staff we have encountered in our many years of travel. Try this very reasonably priced hotel. You will not be disappointed!
Love the location. Loved the breakfast!! Close to so many restaurants and the places we had to meet for our food and history tours, Love the square and all the shops that were there. So much to look at. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who's going to be going to Athens in the future.
