Acropolis City Life BH Athens

The hotel - which is very good located - has a fantastic calming atmosphere. This wonderful atmosphere is because of the enormous heart of the owner and the exceptionally helpful staff. We enjoyed the breathtaking view from the roof, the delicious breakfasts, coffee with almond/soy/rice milk, thank you for it :), the clean and cosy rooms, and that the receptionists had always some kind words and a smile to us. Unfortunately we had to go to the hospital. The helpfulness and the support from the owner Vangelis and the whole staff was amazing and much more than I could write it in words

"Fabulous, Friendly, Great price and location"

everything. Location, staff, Breakfast rooms. Staff was incredible and couldn't do enough for us from inquiring about hop on hop offs, info regarding the city, help with the safe. Christina and Constantina were superb. So friendly and willing to go above and beyond. In all my travels, I think this staff was one of the nicest ever. We met the designer, builder owner who was a charming man and explained that he built this so he could meet people. The hotel is lively and very reasonably priced. 2 mi uses from train station, a minute from the Plaka and hop on hop off bus and a 10 minute walk to the acropolis. Also it has a wonderful rooftop terrace that has spectacular views of Athens.

The staff were vey kind and always ready to react to my request. The food including water which were in dining room were all free. The location was fantastic as we can easily walk to Acropolis in 20min through Monastraki square.

Great central location, only 5 mins walk from the metro station. Very spacious and clean rooms with great facilities and comfy bed. Great breakfast selection. Very friendly and helpful receptionists! The views from the rooftop terrrace are unbeatable!

"Had a great time and would stay again"

Location right off of Ermou (on the same street as The Little Kook Cafe that was all decked out for Halloween - so fun!), a block from Monastiraki Square and metro station; small boutique hotel with tasteful and modern decor and a rooftop deck with a clear view of the Acropolis; room and bathroom were spacious; hotel staff were excellent (Evie, Christina, Evangelo, kitchen staff) and really went above and beyond - they arranged for earlier breakfast to be served when we had an early excursion, researched logistical info for an outdoor concert we were attending and also transit options to the port and train station - we could not have asked for anything more from them; breakfast was beyond what we expected each morning and in a lovely breakfast area - bacon, eggs, potatoes, pastries/bread/bagels, cereals, fruit, yogurt, selection of charcuterie meats and cheeses and fixings, juices/teas/coffee, fridge with water was always available for self-serve.

"Refused to refund $1000 due to Air Traffic Controller Strike"

April 2025 We had reservations beginning April 9th, 2025 but the Greek air traffic controllers went on strike so our flight from Seattle was cancelled, and we couldn’t get another one for two days. We contacted Acropolis City Life to cancel our reservation and they refused. Acropolis City Life said simply “declined” and stiffed us out of more than $1000. We made two requests and they refused to help us at all. All our tours and dinner reservations cancelled with understanding, but Acropolis City Life wouldn’t even talk to us. Incredibly unethical.

"Superb"

Location was very central and convenient at any time of the day. The girl that welcomed us was super nice kind and helpful. The only problem there was a weird smell like it was coming from the bathroom, bur according to explanations, it must be the area at some time of the day, but overall it eas a very nice experience

"Holiday"

Lovely staff, great location full of life close to Monastiraki metro station and square. Ideal for exploring the ancient sites with a convenient retreat. Excellent value. Would stay here again. Rooms modern and clean, good hot water, split system air-con. Chose Monastiraki as convenient for the metro to both the airport and Pireaus ferry port, so a great place to overnight en route,

"Absolute gem of a hotel"

Everything about our stay here was fantastic. The location can’t be beat, the rooms are beautiful and comfortable and the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

"Delightful accommodations and staff"

This boutique hotel is an amazing little oasis in the heart of downtown Athens. Breakfast was incredible and the entire place was immaculate. The rooftop bar/patio was such a nice place to gaze at the Acropolis each day. The staff helped us when we really needed it. Highly recommend this place to anyone travelling to Athens.
