Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of different options. The hotel location was perfect. The rooms (we stayed on two occasions) were both really clean, modern and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
April 2025 We had reservations beginning April 9th, 2025 but the Greek air traffic controllers went on strike so our flight from Seattle was cancelled, and we couldn’t get another one for two days. We contacted Acropolis City Life to cancel our reservation and they refused. Acropolis City Life said simply “declined” and stiffed us out of more than $1000. We made two requests and they refused to help us at all. All our tours and dinner reservations cancelled with understanding, but Acropolis City Life wouldn’t even talk to us. Incredibly unethical.
Everything about our stay here was fantastic. The location can’t be beat, the rooms are beautiful and comfortable and the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
AMAZING! The hotel - the staff - the view - the location - the breakfast - the amenities - AWESOME! They go above and beyond! After a day out going back to the hotel we felt like we were coming home!! So friendly! We travel alot and when we were out and about we would talk about how great the hotel is - say things like no other place does things like that…
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. And I want to begin by talking about the service and staff here. From the moment I walked in, the welcome was so warm, I felt right at home (Thank you Christina). And every interaction with the reception (including chats with Christina, Evi and Evangelos who is the owner/manager) was SO friendly. They're all just so nice and human. Even the brief encounters with the breakfast staff and the housekeeping staff were extremely pleasant. The most overwhelming moment was after I asked Christina to research a local bakery for me where they sell specific type of cookies, she asked for an hour to get me the info and an hour later, instead of the info, she had BOUGHT a box of cookies for me. No charge! This is service like no other and SUPER nice of her. The room is nicely sized, the furniture and decor is minimalistic but artistic with a few large mirrors (which is always a treat), a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom is well-designed and has all the things you need (including a hairdryer), and the rain shower is great (also nice and hot). Their breakfast is more than adequate (only suggestion would be to keep veggie stuff away from meaty stuff, because when it's in the same food warmer, it feels contaminated). But the best thing here is that all the cakes and pastries, juices and yogurts, water and coffee machine etc are available all day long for guests to help themselves. This is a rarity in any hotel - and such a wonderful touch that allows guests to feel 'at home'. Finally the location - it's barely 2min walk from Monastiraki station (which connects directly to the airport), right at one end of Ermou (which is a big shopping street) and so close to many popular restaurants and cafes. You could stay here without needing to take the metro for any local excursions, including the Parthenon. And the views from the rooftop are mindblowing.
The service - staff was extremely nice and so helpfulThe room was clean , roomy, well decoratedBreakfast was good , just what you need to start the day.
Amazing central location, really good size rooms with free water bottles available. Super friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and the air conditioner worked great, we needed it the heat wave. Very comfy bed too
We spent the last night of our honeymoon here. The staff was very friendly and helpful! They sent us to the best restaurant in town and when we came back we found a very thoughtful and cute cute surprise in our bedroom. They really managed to make the last day of our trip very special! Thank you guys for this!
The hotel - which is very good located - has a fantastic calming atmosphere. This wonderful atmosphere is because of the enormous heart of the owner and the exceptionally helpful staff. We enjoyed the breathtaking view from the roof, the delicious breakfasts, coffee with almond/soy/rice milk, thank you for it :), the clean and cosy rooms, and that the receptionists had always some kind words and a smile to us. Unfortunately we had to go to the hospital. The helpfulness and the support from the owner Vangelis and the whole staff was amazing and much more than I could write it in words
Location right off of Ermou (on the same street as The Little Kook Cafe that was all decked out for Halloween - so fun!), a block from Monastiraki Square and metro station; small boutique hotel with tasteful and modern decor and a rooftop deck with a clear view of the Acropolis; room and bathroom were spacious; hotel staff were excellent (Evie, Christina, Evangelo, kitchen staff) and really went above and beyond - they arranged for earlier breakfast to be served when we had an early excursion, researched logistical info for an outdoor concert we were attending and also transit options to the port and train station - we could not have asked for anything more from them; breakfast was beyond what we expected each morning and in a lovely breakfast area - bacon, eggs, potatoes, pastries/bread/bagels, cereals, fruit, yogurt, selection of charcuterie meats and cheeses and fixings, juices/teas/coffee, fridge with water was always available for self-serve.
